Start with these simple tips…
With the right placement and niche in mind, social media is one of the best methods to advertise your business.
A lot of advice is out there about how to use social media for marketing purposes. It’s a lot to take in at once, but it is always worth the research – to help you get started here are 6 steps to start.
1 Experiment with automation.
Any computer engineer will tell you that if something is done again and over again, it should be done automatically. It is possible to save brain space by reducing the number of times you engage with something (make decisions about it).
Writing blog entries, interacting with clients, developing goods, making sales, conducting bookkeeping — the list goes on – are just some of the responsibilities of a company owner. When it comes to making your life easier, it doesn’t matter if you don’t want to wear the same outfit every day.
Automating your social media accounts is a good place to start. The greatest updates may be posted and recycled automatically, freeing you up to handle other elements of the company’s operations. Use products like Jasper, Buffer, Hootsuite, Edgar, etc.
2 Make use of live videos and selfies!
Want to serve as a constant reminder that you are, in fact, a sentient being? Make use of the live streaming capabilities offered by social media! All social platforms offer a form of video, capture, playback, etc., from facetime, stories, TikTok, rumble, etc. Start with one!
A regular Q&A session with your followers, a commercial promotion, or simply establishing a personal connection with anybody who tunes in are all viable options. Your followers will feel more connected to you and have a better understanding of who you are and why they should spend more time with you if you appear on a live video.
3 Use groups to your advantage
New audiences may be reached through social media groups without feeling like you’re hawking your products or services.
Facebook groups aren’t dead, despite popular belief. Facebook groups are still used by millions of individuals to meet other like-minded people and to learn more about issues they’re passionate about. Start and grow a Facebook group by simply opening a group and inviting people to see what you’re doing and engaging with them. One group we are involved with has grown from a few hundred to over forty thousand.
Using a LinkedIn group to practice your non-automated communication skills is a great idea as well. Do something you’re passionate about and join a group where you’ll want to spend time with others. Find groups that are in your niche and fellow peers. This will show you what others are doing to market themselves also while giving you info.
4 Use Twitter tweets to your advantage.
Many people are familiar with the benefits of engaging in Twitter chats, offering info and news, and providing customer service.
Taking an hour out of your day to participate in a Twitter discussion might seem onerous when you have a long list of things to get done. Schedule your social media posts and have them rotate automatically in the background so you’ll have more time to meet new Twitter pals and form new friendships.
5 Make a webinar
In addition to social media videos, webinars are a great approach to building relationships with your audience.
Start with a “pitch-free webinar,” which brings together individuals to learn about a topic and contribute what you know, instead of promoting a forthcoming product launch. Then as followers grow you can build on offering services and products to followers who trust you.
When you hold a webinar, individuals will often tell their own audiences about the forthcoming event, which means your network will increase over time!
6 Create Instagram Stories
When you’re short on time, it’s important to learn how to use social media effectively. Utilize Instagram’s stories feature. One of my friends regularly during the day will just grab his phone and start a story on Instagram, it doesn’t matter what time of day or night it is. You can do it that easily too. He now gets about 50,000 views every time. Just start filming. If you don’t like it you can delete or not post it, but more often than not you’ll post it and your followers will grow.
Marketers flocked to Instagram once it integrated Stories onto its platform. To promote new services, connect with followers, and show off just about everything you can think of, these ephemeral photographs and movies have been utilized in a variety of ways! On a daily basis, more than 500 million Instagram users glance at their Stories.
