Effective advertisers have already mastered the art of targeting specific demographics and interests with Meta’s Custom Audiences. Custom Audiences are useful for remarketing, but their value really lies more in the Lookalikes they can generate. 

Facebook users can direct the social media platform to compile lists of website visitors who have taken a specific action using Custom Audiences based on events. You can collect actions such as, they made a purchase, provided feedback, engaged with your affiliate links, or watched your embedded videos, etc. If an action is important to your company, you can create a custom audience for it.
